About

Bibens Ace Essex, located in the Essex Shoppes and Cinema Outlet Mall directly across from the Essex Cinema, is the latest addition to the Bibens Ace family. This location was built from the ground up and opened its doors to the public in April 2008. We continue to offer all standard Ace Hardware departments as well as the same convenience and superior customer service of our four other locations. Since we’re larger than most neighborhood hardware stores, we have a larger assortment in each department including all the latest products on the market. If we don’t carry the product you’re looking for, we can find it for you and can have it in stock within a week.

Here at Bibens Ace Essex, we have a unique personality with creative, quick and easy ideas for our customers. When you come into our store, we not only greet you, but we talk to you and learn the details of your projects to help you complete them in the best way possible. At our service counter, we repair screens and windows, as well as cut keys, pipe, rope, chain, screen, and glass for those “do-it-yourself” jobs. Our aisles are clear, clean, and organized, and we feature fast checkout. We want all our customers to be completely satisfied, and find that same enjoyment within our store as we do!

What sets us apart from the big-box retailers? We listen to our customers every day on the items they need or request. Through the backing of our distribution center with over 65,000 items and our four sister stores, we go out of our way to accommodate our customers’ needs. We’re our own buyers and we can get items here within a week, if not sooner. Few other retailers can match that combination. We’re happy to help you in any way we can, continuing the tradition of the helpful place with a family face.
